Here we are, about to tie a ribbon on 2016 and begin a new year. The time goes by so quickly and before you know it, 10 years have flown past! That is exactly what has happened here at Certified Radon. Back in 2007, I started learning everything I could about radon and how to help keep families safe with proper testing and mitigation. I dedicated myself then and there to taking care of every single customer by delivering the best service possible. As Certified Radon has grown, we’ve been fortunate to build a family of staff who have that same level of dedication to our customers. It really has been the “secret” to our success and will carry us into the next decade of service.
As you may already know, our commitment to service isn’t limited to the business of radon testing and mitigation – our team is dedicated to serving our community too. Over the past year, we’ve raised over $2500 for Children’s Mercy Hospital and taken a group of 60 young cancer survivors and their families to a Missouri Mavericks’ Hockey game. Together, with the help of customers and partners, we collected crayons for Children’s Mercy patients; school supplies for Community Services League to help kids in need start the school year off right; and barrels of food to fill pantry shelves for Kansas City’s Harvester’s Food Network. Our team has support several other local nonprofit efforts too, including the Boys and Girls Club of Kansas City. Around here, we wear our “Certified” hearts on our sleeves.
During the course of the past 10 years, the Certified Radon team has completed countless radon tests and thousands of mitigations, but it is the lives we’ve touched that gives me the most pride. Whether helping a family improve the safety of their home or a workplace ensure the health of their employees – or lending a hand to lift up a child or family in need, I am proud of the service we provide.
Thank you for letting Certified Radon be of service to you. We look forward to being here for you as we celebrate our 10th anniversary and in the months and years ahead.
