Radon Testing
What kind of radon testing do you need?
You should test your home’s radon levels. Short-term tests measure radon for 2–90 days for quick results. Long-term kits measure radon in your home for over 90 days and are more likely to tell you your home's year-round average level. To provide peace of mind, the EPA recommends testing your home annually, every 2 years, and after any lifestyle changes,

Radon Testing Help Guide
Short Term Testing
Best for: Real Estate Transactions & Homeowners The best approach you can take as a homeowner or if you are selling your home is to conduct a short-term (two to five days) measurement. Best for real estate transactions or a homeowner.
Long Term Testing:
Long-term tests run for a minimum of 90 days, and usually for 6 to 12 months. If the results of a short-term test are slightly below or above the 4 pCi/l EPA action level, you can choose to follow up with a long-term test. A long-term test gives a reading that is more likely to reflect the building's year-round average radon level than a short-term test. Because of season variations in radon levels, the closer the long-term measurement is to 365 days, the more representative it will be of annual average radon levels.
Annual Testing
Annual Testing is short-term testing but conducted as a one-year or two-year follow-up. If you have an existing Radon Mitigation System, you should test your radon levels one year after installation. The EPA recommends testing your home after any lifestyle changes, renovations, and every two years as part of routine home maintenance.
